South Tulsa Children's Ballet proudly presents the sixth season of The Children's Nutcracker to be held on December 12, 13 and 14, 2008 at the TCC Southeast Campus in the VanTrease Performing Arts Center (PACE) located on 81st and Highway 169.
The holiday season just would not be the same without the traditional family visit to The Nutcracker. Choreographed by Pamela Farry this year's production is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
This year's production of The Children's Nutcraker has a cast of 400 children ages 4 to 18. "I believe children should play all roles and every child who auditions should have a part," says Director Farry. South Tulsa Childrens Ballet believes that all dancers, beginners to advanced, deserve the opportunities to dance and have their moment in the spotlight. Visions of sugar plums have been in every child's dream and The Nutcracker possesses the ability to make everyone young or old happy at Christmas.
